Welcome to Bolts and Bridges!

Hi, my name is Aimee, I am a sewing, knitting and spinning enthusiast in my free time along with hanging out with my tiny family in my tiny house. :)

My passion for sewing grew with doing projects with my mom over the years.  It originally started with gift making.  Anyone who knows me well, knows I love to make handmade gifts.  To me they are one of a kind treasures and a huge hug of love.  My most treasured gifts have always been the ones that were handmade. 

One day a few years ago I mentioned to my mom how I wanted to start making my own clothes, especially tops because everything I liked I couldn't find in my size.  I set out on a journey to sew my own clothes and it evolved into bags, wallets, embroidered pillow covers, center pieces, and quilts.

My family and close friends have been my biggest cheerleaders in this journey to starting up a small little store on the interwebs to sell my handmade items.  I'm so thankful for all of them and their encouragement.
